It takes a Village

Our Volunteers and partners are instrumental in making it possible.

Thank you!

In December 2019 when Chamber of Commerce and community volunteers brainstormed the idea to create a giant maze and take on the Guinness World Record for “Most Lit Trees in One Location” they knew it wasn’t going to be easy.

Trees were donated and countless community members cut, carried, stood, and strung lights on over 800 trees (only 797 made it to the final count).

The leap of community spirit didn’t stop there. Judges who painstakingly made the count were the local Police Chief and a district court judge; and for 12 days and nights after, even more volunteers came together to provide seasonal activities and events for the whole family. All free of charge!

Thank you Santa and Mrs. Claus, too.

BTW… in case you haven’t heard, we won the record!
